February 25, 2020: David Hammen was recognized today as Odyssey Space Research’s Engineer of the Year for 2019! This well-deserved award was given in acknowledgment of David’s superior technical excellence, working to the highest standards of quality and integrity at all times. He has a willingness to teach and mentor his fellow engineers and provides significant contributions in a variety of technical areas ranging from orbital mechanics, GNC, spacecraft systems, and software development. He also contributes to Odyssey’s success in a myriad of other ways including interviews, training, proposals, and any other thing asked of him. Congratulations David on being the Engineer of the Year, 2019!
