March 14, 2023 – What would an aerospace company be without celebrating π day? True to form, we had at least a dozen pies in both of our office locations. Not all of them are visible in the Houston pictures – once the Bosnian bureks showed up in the Houston office and our President, Jana Rebmann, opened the buffet, our photographer was too busy eating to take pictures of the additional pies being brought in!
Lacking Bosnian meat pies, the people in the Boulder office decided to add pizza to the mix. While not exactly a pie, it is at least still circular…
The sheer amount of pie caused the feast to last throughout the day and the rest of the week. Fortunately, as most engineering textbooks will tell you, π = 3 is usually close enough – meaning that it’s perfectly acceptable to enjoy π day pie throughout the rest of the month.
