Job Description: 

Qualified candidates will be innovative, analytical, and excited to further space exploration through their work on practical and impactful projects. Candidates are expected to be proficient with: 

  • Systems Engineering & Integration: 
    • Interface Requirements and Definitions documentation 
    • Requirements creation, decomposition, traceability, and verification  
    • Test Plans and Test Procedures 
  • Safety & Mission Assurance: 
    • Hazard identification (causes), mitigation (controls), and verification  
    • Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) 

We are seeking exceptional individuals of all skill levels with a strong desire to further space exploration, regardless of background. 

Required: 

  • U.S. Citizen (or Permanent Resident) is required due to the nature of the work 
  • BS/MS/PhD in Aerospace or similar STEM degrees from accredited universities 

Other Useful Skills (not required): 

  • Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) domain experience 
  • Guidance, Navigation, Control, and Propulsion (GNCP) domain experience 
  • Spacecraft operations and Concept of Operations (ConOps) domain experience 
  • Program-level vehicle development project experience 
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) 
  • Matlab/Simulink 
  • Python 
  • Experience with NASA Trick simulation framework 
  • Experience in supporting NASA contracts, particularly with International Partners. 
  • Experience in supporting other (non-NASA) government sector contracts 

Salary Range: 

$70k – $150k   based on experience
