November 10th, 2023 – Houston/Boulder: Odyssey is celebrating its 20th anniversary today! David Strack and Brian Rishikof founded Odyssey Space Research with the intent to make a difference in the advancement of humans into space. From working on the RPOC projects and all the ISS visiting vehicles, Sierra Space’s Dreamchaser, the Artemis Program, and many other space vehicles, Odyssey has and will continue to make a difference. We have celebrated entering our third decade of existence by consuming different “O”-shaped foods throughout the year on the 10th of each month! Think donuts, cereal, fruits, pizza, and more donuts. We have a thing with donuts. The celebrations culminated with company-wide get togethers for both the Houston and Boulder locations this month.
In Houston, the anniversary party took place at the Houston Aquarium. There were opportunities for photo ops with reptiles, petting stingrays, ice sculptures with the Odyssey logo, and even a diver playing rock/paper/scissors with the kids from underwater! Our founders and many other employees were even spotted wearing Odyssey Hawaiian shirts, appropriate for the Houston “fall” weather…
