Wednesday, April 3rd: Odyssey is part of the Venturi Astrolab, Inc. (Astrolab) winning team selected to develop, test, and operate NASA’s next generation lunar rover, the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV), in partnership with NASA. Odyssey’s roles include flight software development and testing, systems engineering and integration, system safety analysis, human in the loop simulation development and testing, operations, training, and vehicle certification of the LTV version of Astrolab’s FLEX rover. The FLEX-LTV rover will be used for crewed exploration of the lunar south pole regions as part of the upcoming NASA Artemis missions. The rover will also host multiple scientific payloads and perform uncrewed exploration and science operations when not in use by the Artemis crews.
