May 19th, 2023: Congratulations to Blue Origin on being selected by NASA as the second Artemis lunar lander provider! NASA previously awarded SpaceX the contract to build the commercial human lander as part of the Artemis III mission. The contract awarded to Blue Origin is for NASA’s Artemis V mission, which will take two astronauts to the Moon’s south pole. This mission will further the exploration of the Moon as well as testing the complex systems, like Gateway, that are needed to support future Moon and Mars based missions. Odyssey is excited to see Blue Origin and NASA work together towards pushing the boundaries of space exploration!
