July 19th, 2023: Odyssey welcomed many new faces this summer as both full-time employees and summer interns, which means it was time for one of our exciting traditions, the Mission Control Tour at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC)!

While JSC offers tours of their own, nothing equals the insider perspective and stories of our personal tour guide (and Vice-President) Bryan Lunney who worked in many roles at JSC, most notably Flight Director in Mission Control.

The tour focuses on building 31, where employees get to see all three mission control rooms: the original historic room of the Apollo era, the current International Space Station Flight Control Room, and the newest room utilized by the Artemis Program, Mission Control 21.

This is a great opportunity for new employees to learn more about the past, present, and future of human spaceflight, the core mission of Odyssey Space Research. Many Odyssey employees work at JSC daily, and they often tag along to meet their new co-workers and refresh themselves on Bryan’s great stories. If you would like to become a part of this exciting team, check out our open listings at https://odysseysr.com/careers/.
