July 26th, 2024 – Houston: Some of the recent new hires at Odyssey Space Research, both fulltime employees and interns, got a nice summer treat in the form of a trip to the Neutral Buoyancy Lab (NBL) and a meet ‘n greet with NASA astronaut Anne McClain! The NBL is a NASA Johnson Space Center facility designed to train astronauts and assist in mission planning. While they weren’t able to go in the water themselves, everyone was able to learn more about the NBL’s role in ensuring successful human spaceflight operations.
