September 8, 2021: Odyssey has been engaged by Sierra Space to implement the flight software for the uncrewed Dream Chaser vehicle as part of NASA’s Commercial Resupply Services 2 (CRS2) program. Dream Chaser is a spaceplane that will transport cargo to and from the International Space Station (ISS). It is designed to evolve for the accommodation of crew and for missions to other Low Earth Orbit destinations.
Odyssey’s contribution encompasses the software for the entire vehicle flight profile — from launch to landing. The work will be performed to the exacting technical and safety specifications required by Sierra Space and NASA at Odyssey’s locations in Houston, TX and our new location in Boulder, CO.
