January 21, 2025: Snow is very uncommon in Houston, but this past Tuesday was one of those rare opportunities to build a snowman out of actual snow rather than the soap foam that is sometimes used as a substitute!
With snow falling for several hours and temperatures below freezing, the streets turned into a winter wonderland – a slippery one, given the lack of snow clearing equipment.
This resulted in a snow day for most people at Odyssey. During some well-deserved breaks from working from home, humans and pets alike enjoyed playing in the snow (although some preferred huddling up on the couch… and then there was that crazy person that decided to go swimming).
By now the snow has melted, but the memories will live on – until we hopefully get some snow again next year!
