Odyssey Space Research, LLC has an opportunity for a full-time experienced Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) Operations and Training Engineer to support our continued growth in the Houston, TX (and Boulder, CO) area. Job Description:

Qualified candidates will be innovative, analytical, and excited to further space exploration through their work on practical and impactful projects. Candidates are expected to have experience and be proficient with:

  • Supporting NASA human spaceflight mission operations
  • Supporting the operations team and managing training development activities for missions. process
  • Developing, reviewing and approving training products

We are seeking exceptional individuals of all skill levels with a strong desire to further space exploration, regardless of background.

Required:

  • U.S. Citizen (or Permanent Resident) is required due to the nature of the work
  • BS/MS/PhD in Aerospace or similar degrees from accredited universities
  • Minimum 4 years of operations and/or training spaceflight experience

Other Useful Skills (not required for every position):

  • Certification(s) as a Flight Controller and/or Trainer for Human Spaceflight programs
  • Excellent soft skills including written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills on technical topics and issues
  • Big picture situational awareness when working on large, complex spaceflight projects
  • Ability to develop excellent working relationships with customers, peers, and management
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite of Tools to prepare documents, presentations and reports
