Job Description:

Qualified candidates will be innovative, analytical, and excited to further space exploration through their work on practical and impactful projects. Candidates are expected to have experience and be proficient with:

  • Performing system safety analysis and writing NASA hazard reports
  • Supporting and tracking verification of hazard controls
  • Supporting NASA flight system safety review process including
  • Software safety and software safety audits
  • NASA organization and spaceflight operations

Required:

  • U.S. Citizen (or Permanent Resident) is required due to the nature of the work
  • BS/MS/PhD in Aerospace or similar degrees from accredited universities

Other Useful Skills (not required for every position):

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop excellent working relationships with customers, peers, and management
  • Use of Confluence, Sphinx, or similar tools for documentation
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite of Tools to prepare documents, presentations and reports.
